Serie A heavyweights AS Roma are said to be considering a move for Real Madrid out-of-sorts midfielder Dani Ceballos.
The Spanish starlet rejected a chance to join Juventus this summer in order to sign a five-year deal with Real Madrid last summer, following a scintillating display at the Under-21 European Championship.
Ceballos failed to gain a regular starting spot in a star-studded Real Madrid midfield, however, and has been limited to only two La Liga starts this campaign.
The talented midfielder could seek a move away from Santiago Bernabeu this winter in order to gain regular minutes and increase his chances of earning a spot in Spain’s World Cup squad.
Il Posticipo reports that AS Roma sporting director Monchi is preparing a move for Ceballos who is a proven Giallorossi supporter.
The 21-year-old midfielder was caught expressing support towards AS Roma in the past with his tweet of joy at Federico Balzaretti’s goal in a Derby della Capitale there to attest it.
